Each child under 12 stays for FREE per paying adult.

Koro Sun Resort Children�s Programme

(Ages 3 - 11 years - 9am-3:30pm)

Day 1

9:00am
Tour around the Resort. Brief summary on all the activities that they will participate in during their vacation. Their safety in and out of the water.

Activities: 9:30 - 3:30pm
Sand castle constructions (those who cannot snorkel)
Beach games
Snorkeling in the Lagoon
Water slides competition

Day 2

10:00am - 12:00pm
Robinson Crusoe Day: An adventure through Bat Island, an island across Koro Sun Lagoon, which is inhabited with bats, a native mammal. Lunch will also be packed for each child. Hand line fishing will also be taught in which the children will have the opportunity to fish & taste the fish cooked over the fire (Fijian way) there is also a cave that the kids could enjoy a mid morning swim at.

Fijian School Visit

Day 3

Rainforest Trekking: Koro Sun Resort is home to 90 acres of native rain forest. Guided hikes along marked trials will take the kids under the rainforest canopy and along cascading waterfalls. Learn about the trees, herbs that could be used to cure just any illness. Skills will also be taught on how they could survive in a forest.

Day 4

Village Tour: A guided walk will take the children through Waivunia village to see how Fijian villages live. They will see the native homes, meeting hall and church. Afternoon activities available.

Day 5

Bilibili (Raft) Race Day: The children will be grouped up for a challenge in the putting together of Bamboos to form a Bilibili (traditional Fijian raft) followed by a race along the Koro Sun channel. This will be done with the help of the guys in the activities department or kayaking in the lagoon.

Day 6

Treasure Hunt: Treasure will be hidden at different locations around the resort in which the children will have to find. This won't be easy, as we will work on clues.

Day 7

Sunday Service: You will be taken to Waivunia Village for Sunday school with the village kids and then you are welcome to join in with the adults for divine service to hear the melodious singing or you can return to the resort after the Sunday School

Fishing: With a hand fishing line wrapped around a bottle in the pond or out on the marina.

Each day after lunch we will be practicing a traditional Fijian dance & song that they could present to their parents at the last day of their stay (30 minutes a day).
