Scuba Diving
KoroSun Dive: A PADI certified SCUBA diving operation with a fully equipped dive shop and custom-built dive boats. Our professional staff are able to provide introductory SCUBA instruction, full Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Emergency First Response, DiveMaster and Specialty Certifications. For certified divers we generally offer a 2-tank morning dive, departing at about 8:30am and returning to the resort in time for lunch. Additional dives and day trips may be available depending on diver interest and weather conditions (see below for details). Certified divers are required to produce a certification card prior to diving as proof of training and are required to complete a liability and indemnity form prior to diving.
Towels and light refreshments are provided on board the boat at the surface interval.
All rates are per person and exclusive of 15% VAT and 4% credit card charge, if applicable. All Rates include scuba gear as required (BCD, Regulator, Fins, Mask, Snorkel, Weights, Tank, Wetsuit) and a qualified and experienced instructor/divemaster/dive guide as appropriate.

Diving Rates
Day Trips: Day trips to the Namena Marine Reserve or SomoSomo Straits may be organized once on site at Koro Sun Resort but are dependent on diver interest and weather conditions. Both day trips are approximately 20-30 miles and can take 11/2 – 2 hours in each direction. A day trip surcharge applies to both Namena and the Somosomo Straits.
The Namena day trip surcharge includesa Marine Reserve Tag fee of $25 fjd. For day trips to Namena and the Somosomo Straits Koro Sun Resort provides its guests with a packed lunch; this needs to be requested from the Resort wait staff the evening before the diving day trip.

Course students should be medically fit to dive as per the PADI Medical Questionnaire. Anyone unsure should get a “fit to dive” medical statement from their physician prior to arrival. All trainee divers will be required to sign a PADI medical statement and indemnity form prior to diving.
Koro Sun is an eco-friendly resort and our aim is to preserve and maintain our delicate marine environment. With this in mind all divers should not remove or damage coral, fish or other marine life. Spear guns are prohibited at all times.
Pre-booked package dives are non-refundable and non-transferable. A fuel surcharge may apply should fuel prices increase.
