Join us on Sunday for a truly beautiful experience the melodious Fijian voice raised in celebratory song is an experience that will touch your very soul. The award winning choir will be more than happy to show you their talent. There are both Catholic and Methodist Services. Please note that a collection plate is passed during the service. The collection plate will be offered during the service.

Herbal Walk
Join the resorts Herbalist Leba for an informative walk through the botanical gardens. Leba has the green thumb responsible for making our beautiful gardens and resort grounds plentiful. Leba’s background in horticulture has allowed her to bring much needed skills of gardening to Savusavu and Koro Sun. Explore our 150 acres of rainforest, organic gardens, plant nursery and more. You will learn about native plants to Fiji as well as other applications for those plants with medicinal use.

School Visit
The local village school is a 20-minute drive from the resort. It is a tidy small school that sits up on the cliff overlooking the water. The teachers and headmasters welcome visitors and are happy to share with you what they are teaching in the classrooms. The children also love meeting visitors and having their photos taken. Exchange your experience with them and tell them where you are from. If you would like to see the local village school we are happy to arrange a visit. The school does accept donations.

Cycling Hibiscus Road
Hop on a mountain bike, or beach cruiser and enjoy the ride! Your guide will take you down the scenic Hibiscus Road, where you can enjoy a leisurely exploration of the scenic coastline. For or a more vigorous ride, you can explore a nearby waterfall if you prefer. Whether you choose to go for a short spin, or a long excursion, the sea is your backdrop.

Tennis, Volleyball, Golf, Kayak
Enjoy a game of Tennis with family or friends in the beautiful sunshine and surroundings of this plantation. Ask at the front desk for assistance with the complimentary equipment.
Join our staff for a game of Volleyball, it’s sure to be a good match. Weather you’re a beginner, or an experienced player, you’re more than welcome to join the game. The Bilibili news offers suggested times for afternoon games throughout the week.
The resort offers a 9 whole Golf course, which is complimentary for guests to play. See our front desk for golf clubs and remember to bring closed toe shoes.
Take a Kayak to explore the reef in front of the resort. The front desk or the activity guides are more than happy to assist you or take you on an excursion.
Town Trip
$15 FJD per person
Saturday is market day in Savusavu town. It’s a bustling time to visit when locals shop for fresh fruits and vegetables at the municipal produce market.
Check out the variety of mangoes, papayas, root crops and then stop by the fish corner to see the ‘catch of the day’. You may enjoy stopping at a fresh fruit
juice bar or checking out the local Fijian souvenir and handicrafts shops.

Bat Island
Kayak across the lagoon to the nearby Bat (Lotu) Island. Named after the fruit bats that inhabit bat island, you might see them at dusk as they fly towards the rainforest. Explore shallow tide pools, as you venture towards the cave. If your lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the goats living on the island.
The highlight of this adventure is a cave called “lovers grotto” on the backside of the island. Climb through a hole in the rock at just the right moment as the tide rushes through. On this 1-2 hour excursion, you will circumnavigate the entire island and then kayak back to the resort across the channel.

Coconut demonstration
Known in Fiji simply as the “tree of life” the coconut is a life-susataitninigo trene in the islands. Every peice of the plant is used – from the roots, to the bark, to the nut. Your guide will explain the importance these towering trees have for the Fijian people, and you can join in on coconut grating (and tasting!), weaving hats and baskets, and watch your guide nimbly climb up these beautiful giants.

Lawn Games

Horse Shoes is an outdoor game played between two people (or two teams of two people) using four horseshoes and two throwing targets (stakes) set in a sandbox area. The game is played by the players alternating turns tossing horseshoes at stakes in the ground, which are traditionally placed 40 feet apart. Modern games use a more stylized U-shaped bar, about twice the size of an actual horseshoe.
Ladder Toss is a lawn game played by throwing bolas (two balls connected by a string) onto a ladder. Croquet is a lawn game, played both as a recreational pastime and as a competitive sport. It involves hitting plastic or wooden balls with a mallet through hoops (often called “wickets” in the US) embedded into the grass playing court.
Bocce Ball This ancient game, whose modern adaptation most closely resembles bowling, requires skill, strategy and just a little luck. Bocce ball is a great game to play outside on a beautiful day. It is highly popular among seniors, but youths are sure to enjoy this accuracy game.

Movies, Board Games, Library
Ask at the front desk to take a look at our Movie collection. They are best and enjoyed in our theatre behind the main clubhouse, sitting comfortably in an oversized arm chair. If you are in one of our Villas, you can enjoy your selection in your room with provided DVD player.
Take a look at the Board Games located in the cupboard in the lounge area, and play around of Monopoly or Risk! Books are located in the cupboard within the lounge for your enjoyment.
Feel free to take them to the pool or to your room and please don’t forget to put them back so that other guests can enjoy them as well. We would gladly accept books you already read if you want to leave them behind to save space in your luggage for your Fijian souvenirs.

Explore the Koro lagoon on a Stand Up Paddle Board. The Koro Sun activities team, will show you one of the world’s hottest new sports. Enjoy the freedom of paddling the Koro Sea, sightseeing and getting a great workout while your at it! For an instructional excursion that will help you to get your sea legs, please see reception for a private class. Boards are provided complimentary to you for the duration of your tour.
